How Ireland ranks globally: PISA 2022
The OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) tests 15-year-olds worldwide in reading, maths and science every three years. Ireland outperformed the OECD average in all three subjects in 2022 — and posted the highest reading score of any OECD or EU country.
